Liv Strömquist unveils centuries of sexual repression and shatters all the misconceptions around female sex, while also addressing our culture's obsession with binary sexuality. In this work, the author surprises us with the accuracy and the clarity of her analysis, her frantic back and forth between past and present, her unexpected parallels and, above all, her ubiquitous vitriolic humor.
